Alan Carr has confirmed he is in talks to join Strictly Come Dancing.
The comedian appeared in the final to read the Ts and Cs, but sources told The Sun he would be joining the show in 2019 as a contestant.
However, on Loose Women, he has confirmed he is in talks to join the show, joking that the BBC "cornered" him.
He told the panel: "Oh my listen. Listen! I will do it but next year I’ve got a busy year, I’m going on tour!
"They cornered me and they said, ‘Would you do it?’ and I would do it but I hate those VTs where you know, ‘We’re doing Salsa so we’re off to a dips factory, you know what I mean?
"They go to Chester Zoo or a museum, but I’m like, I need to be in the studio now doing the Argentine Tango. Step away from the rhino – I want to stick a rose in my mouth and do the thing!"
So, it turns out those VTs may be a barrier for Alan taking part in the show next year, along with his touring commitments, however he does have an idea for a new dance that should perhaps be added into the show so he can secure full marks from the judges.
He continued: "You know my favourite dance? The Oops Upside Your Head, because you get to sit down, you know!"
Coleen Nolan then joked, saying he would be "guaranteed" to get 10s in that performance as it requires little movement.
Alan also attended the show to give out naughty Christmas present, as is tradition on the show.
The 2018 series saw Stacey Dooley take the glitterball trophy with her partner and four-time finalist, Kevin Clifton.
MirrorOnline has contacted BBC and Strictly Come Dancing for comment and confirmation.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
