You s*** yourself in front of me' – Jose Mourinho accuses journalist of being ‘aggressive’ about him behind his back

ROMA boss Jose Mourinho has publicly accused a journalist of being violent and aggressive when talking about him.

The 59-year-old had no reservations when confronting Italian journalist Alessandro Austini during a pre-match press conference ahead of Roma's clash with Sampdoria on Saturday.

Austini approached Mourinho to ask a question about his tactics, but the answer he was given was not expected.

The Portuguese manager responded by saying: "I was expecting a much more aggressive question, more negative and violent after I listened to you on the radio.

"I didn't expect such an easy question. My conclusion is that you are much more aggressive and violent on the radio but when you come here you s*** yourself a little bit in front of me."

This comes after Austini criticised Mourinho live on Italian radio.

The Roma boss has been subject to media disapproval since arriving at the club last year.

In October last year he slammed a Retesport reporter for "not being intelligent at all" following a question in a press conference.

Journalist Marco Juric asked: "It's been six months since you signed for Roma, would you change anything that you've done in terms of choices, statements, requests or anything that you've done?"

Mourinho responded with: "You are here in practically every press conference, but either you are very intelligent and you want people to think you are not or you are not intelligent at all.

"I want to think you're intelligent but you like to do what you do."

Retesport were quick to condemn his actions and even announced that they were boycotting all interviews and press conferences with the manager.

Roma currently sit sixth in the Serie A table, but a win against Sampdoria will boost them up by one place.
