SKY ANGEL was just collared in the dying strides at Newmarket so this slightly shorter trip should be ideal.

She travelled strongly and could be a step ahead of the assessor.

Nazuna won her maiden here last month and starts handicapping from a fair mark at a track we know suits.

Meu Amor was impressive in winning at Pontefract and is another with little lead in the saddle.

Spright and Credible are both coming here on the back of victories and can’t be dismissed.

ZABEEL QUEEN couldn’t have been any more impressive when winning a decent maiden on debut at Ascot. She was green before picking up strongly to leave her rivals behind. This daughter of Frankel should improve for an extra furlong and looks classy.

Star Of Emaraaty is a big threat after winning the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket over this trip. The ground was very fast so she needs to prove her liking for these softer conditions.

Gosden and Dettori team up with Indigo Girl who got the job done nicely on debut at Yarmouth and can handle this stronger company.

IMPERIAL FORCE ran a cracker behind The Lir Jet in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and we can forgive him a poor outing at Haydock since then. He relished the soft ground at the Queen’s track and Andrew Balding won this 12 months ago.

Yazaman has been running in hot races and has talent despite his quirks. His best form from a couple of Group 2 seconds would see him go close.

Cairn Island runs in the same colours and had plenty in hand when winning a York handicap so can’t be ruled out.

Line Of Departure won well at Ascot and has more to come for Roger Varian. His best has come over this trip, while Collinsbay has yet to win but went close at Ascot and his stamina will be an asset in the conditions.

ALPINISTA chased home the mighty Love in the Yorkshire Oaks and will relish this longer distance on breeding for staying king Sir Mark Prescott. She was good enough to win a Listed race over an inadequate 1m2f and looks well up to this level.

Believe In Love has been in excellent form in handicaps, winning four on the spin without any problem. She had an impressive ten lengths to spare at Newmarket and stays well.

Monica Sheriff won a French Group 3 in October and came back with an excellent fourth in the Ebor when coming from a long way back. She can build on that and looks a real threat.

Snow and Pista come over from Ireland with the latter looking to have the most potential after a game Leopardstown Listed win.

JUMAIRA BAY got off the mark in a Chepstow maiden last time but had already shown lots of promise when beaten on the nod in a red-hot York handicap. This is his best distance and trainer Roger Varian has won this race twice in the past three years.

Eastern World won at Newmarket in June and came close to that form when fifth in a big field on the Knavesmire latest. He travelled strongly so dropping in trip could be a wise move.

Persuasion was last seen finishing down the field in the Guineas but ended last season with a Group 3 second at HQ and the booking of Frankie Dettori on the Charles Hills runner takes the eye with John Gosden running Haqeeqy in the race.

Black Caspian has been running well and is best over this trip too, while Mister Snowdon went close at Goodwood latest and is another to note.
