'Ten Hag's imprint all over this' – Watch Man Utd's stunning 14-pass move to set up Rashford's goal vs Crystal Palace | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED'S 14-pass move for Marcus Rashford's goal against Crystal Palace proved that Erik ten Hag is already making his mark at Old Trafford.

The goal saw all-but two United players involved and one of those was David de Gea, the other being Raphael Varane.

The move starts with a throw-in from Aaron Wan-Bissaka in his own half.

The right-back uses Fred, who finds Lisandro Martinez to bring the ball into the Crystal Palace half and pick out Luke Shaw in acres of space.

Shaw then continues to bring the ball forward before handing the baton to Alejandro Garnacho, who comes inside and plays a one-two with Fred.

Only six passes have been made, but United are suddenly in full flow.

Garnacho finds the man who started the move, Wan-Bissaka, and he immediately spreads the play to Antony on the right.

The winger then plays a neat one-two with Bruno Fernandes before going back to Wan-Bissaka.

The move is really beginning to take shape and the two most important passes happen when the ex-Crystal Palace star picks out Casemiro, who drops back into the D and plays a fine ball into Garnacho.

The Argentine impressively gets away from two defenders, before laying off to Shaw in space on the left-hand side of the box.

Only two more touches are required as Shaw plays a first-time cross into Rashford to coolly guide the ball home.

It was another example of the work that Ten Hag has done is really starting to pay off on the pitch.

And fans on social media reckon that Ten Hag ball is already in full flow after just seven months in the job.

One said: "The Ten Hag blueprint. The DNA of the Busby Babes.

A second said: "What a goal. Erik ten Hag ball ?."

A third went: "Ten Hag's imprint all over this goal."

Meanwhile, the Dutchman said: "It was a great team goal, by switching play, playing between the lines, great combinations and then finally he finished off a brilliant pass by Luke Shaw as well, the cross.

"And then of course the finish was very good."
