SHEFFIELD UNITED’S eyes are on Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng to replace Arsenal-bound Aaron Ramsdale.
The Swiss stopper has impressed in the Championship and attracted Premier League interest.
Dieng could move for about £6million and the Blades will have that cash after tying up a move for England squad man Ramsdale to the Gunners.
The QPR star, 26, made 42 Championship appearances last term and picked up his first Senegal cap in March.
Arsenal have been linked with Ramsdale throughout the summer and have already had a bid rejected for the 23-year-old stopper.
The Premier League giants are also believed to be interested in Ramsdale's Bramall Lane colleague Sander Berge.
United are also keen to snap up forward Charlie Kirk from Crewe for a £500,000 fee.
Kirk has caught the eye in League One and the Blades are looking to add more thrust as they bid for promotion.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Crewe and has scored 32 goals in 203 appearances for the third tier outfit.
Sunderland, meanwhile, face a transfer tussle to land Blades striker Daniel Jebbison on loan.

Black Cats boss Lee Johnson is hoping to clinch a deal.
But now United are thinking about sending the 18-year-old to Belgian side Beerschot instead.
Doncaster and Burton also want Jebbison but his coaches prefer to send him abroad.
