    Record breaking time…

It could be tonight that Erling Haaland breaks the record for the most Premier League goals scored in a single season.

He currently sits atop the Premier League scoring charts with 34 league goals, and 50 goals in all competitions.

34 Premier League goals in a season puts him level with Alan Shearer and Andy Cole for the most goals scored in a single season, however, both of them did it in a 42-game season.

Just the one goal tonight will see him break the record and re-write history once again…

    Ederson dropped

It is much the same for Manchester City tonight as it has been the past few weeks, as they look to extend their winning run.

However, there is a big name missing tonight, with ever-present goalkeeper Ederson missing from between the sticks.

He has been dropped to the bench for reasons that are currently unclear.

    Westhamchester City?

    They wouldn't… Would they?

There has been plenty of buzz on social media as of late about West Ham potentially fielding a weakened starting eleven in this game, to stop Arsenal lifting the Premier League trophy.

Of course, it is very unlikely, it would be a sad sight to see a title race diminished to petty point scoring over local rivals, but just imagine.

A simple Twitter search of 'Westhamchester City' will bring you all you need to know, with one fan even going as far as to make a joint crest of the two clubs.

    Team news

Pep Guardiola is likely to still be without defender Nathan Ake as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Kevin de Bruyne was left out of the squad for City's win at Craven Cottage on Sunday as a precaution so he could return for the visit of West Ham.

David Moyes will not have centre-back Kurt Zouma available after he was forced to be withdrawn in the first half against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to twisting his ankle.

Forward Gianluca Scamacca will also be missing for the Irons after undergoing knee surgery.

Pep’s three rules for title run-in

Asked what his main role is over the final few weeks, Pep said: "Telling them that if you are tired, you're wrong. You are not tired.

"People say it is a lot of games. But when you are winning matches, as a manager you are already dreaming, 'We are close to winning the title'.

"And of course most of the players will now feel the same.

"It's just a question of sleep and sleep and sleep. Eat a lot and drink.

"But only water ? not another type of drink. Water, water, water.

"Take a lot of naps after lunchtime for better regeneration.

"And just use all your energy in the moments of the game.

"The rest, they have incredible physios to take care of them. And they can do it. They did these things in the past, so they can do it again."

With the World Cup breaking up the season in November and December, it has felt like a gruelling season for many stars in Guardiola's squad.

But he insists it is no time for his players to be putting their feet up yet.

Pep added: "We are not going to lose games because we are tired. You are tired when you are out of competitions.

"After you are out, the seasons are so long, they never end. You want to finish as soon as possible to start the next one.

"But when you are here, you are not tired, that's for sure."
