HOST nation England will prepare for their 2022 Women's Euros matches this summer in style.

The luxury Lensbury Resort in London has been selected as the basecamp for Sarina Wiegman and her Lionesses.

On the banks of the Thames in south-west London, The Lensbury boasts excellent sporting facilities, including a state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool.

There are also two UEFA standard pitches for Wiegman and her stars to train on.

England begin their 2022 Euros campaign against Austria on July 6 at Old Trafford.

The team will stay at St. George's Park in the run-up to their opening match, but will then head down to The Lensbury for the rest of the tournament.

And when the Lionesses are afforded some down time there are 22 first-class tennis courts for them to play on.

"We have received a warm welcome from the staff already and have been impressed by the facilities and accommodation.

"It is important that our tournament base is a home from home for the squad and support team, and I have no doubt we will find that here.

"Confirming our base is another step towards what we all hope will be a memorable summer."

The London resort is a perfect location for England's second and third group games against Norway and Northern Ireland in Brighton and Southampton.
