'I can't speak' – Romelu Lukaku refuses to be drawn on Inter transfer after agreeing huge paycut to return from Chelsea

ROMELU LUKAKU has refused to be drawn on transfer links away from Chelsea.

The Belgian is currently on international duty, and is set to take on the Netherlands in the Nations League tonight.

Speaking to the press ahead of the match, Lukaku was asked about rumours that he is willing to take a pay cut to leave the Blues and return to Inter Milan.

The 29-year-old wouldn't clear up speculation, however, saying: "I can't talk about the future."

Lukaku has been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich this summer.

But the forward reportedly has his heart set on an Inter return.

It's claimed that the £97.5m ace is willing to accept a similar salary to what he was previously on at Inter, worth around £125,000-a-week.

This would see him earn around £200k-a-week less than he does at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku has also been linked with a shock reunion with former Inter boss Antonio Conte at Spurs.

But he reportedly isn't willing to entertain such a move across London.

Lukaku netted just eight Premier League goals during his first season back at Chelsea.

He rocked the club last December when he gave an explosive interview to Sky Sport Italia.

During the bombshell interview he claimed he wasn't happy at Chelsea, while also criticising boss Thomas Tuchel's tactics.

Within the piece, he also said: "I know I will return to Inter, I really hope so."
