BRENDAN RODGERS has opened the door to an Arsenal move.

The Leicester City manager has admitted there is a clause in his contract which allows him to leave if a big offer comes in.

Freddie Ljungberg is in temporary charge of the Gunners, who drew 2-2 against Norwich in his first match.

  • It was a lively start to life in the Arsenal dug put for Freddie Ljunberg as he saw his Gunners draw 2-2 with Norwich on Sunday.

    In case you missed it, here's what keeper Bern Leno had to say on Ljunberg's reaction to the stalemate.

    He said: “Firstly, we're disappointed because Freddie said in the dressing room that in the first half this was the game plan we wanted, and the two goals by transition were not good.

    “But in the second half we lost we lost control.”

    The former Gunner believes the Spaniard, who is currently learning his trade under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, would be the ideal man to replace the departed Unai Emery.

    He told Sky Sports: ” “I would like them to be bold and go for a younger, more progressive manager. I’d like Mikel Arteta.”
