SPURS suffered a miserable Sunday against Chelsea as they went down 2-0 in the London derby.

A first-half brace from Willian was enough to give the Blues all three points, whilst Tottenham had to play the final 20 minutes with 10 men after Son Heung-min picked up his third red card of 2019.

  • THIS FEISTY London derby is reminding fans of the 2016 game between the sides at Stamford Bridge.
    The game was nicknamed 'The Battle of the Bridge' after a particularly bad tempered clash between the sides.

    Son is sent-off as things go from bad to worse for Spurs.

    The South Korean kicked his foot out towards the chest of Rudiger after the Chelsea defender had tackled him and sent him flying.

    He got a yellow card first, but after a VAR check he was given his marching orders.

    Spurs are down to ten and still trailing 2-0.

  • VAR gives Chelsea controversial penalty vs Tottenham after Gazzaniga’s ‘assault’ on Alonso.

    Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester United star Gary Neville labelled the incident as “an assault”.

    Referee Anthony Taylor firstly gave a free-kick the other way.

    After consulting VAR the decision was overturned and he instead pointed to the spot.

    Willian converted to put Chelsea 2-0 up just before the break.
