  • MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham are reportedly set to battle it out for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.

The Swiss international is in high demand at the moment after a series of impressive performances for club and country and could cost £42million.

The Red Devils have struggled in the midfield area, with many fans not convinced by Andreas Pereira or £52million man Fred – and Nemanja Matic is looking well past his best.

And things aren't much better at Spurs with Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama having been ravaged by injuries.

Bild claim that the Premier League duo aren't the only clubs interested in the 22-year-old, however, with Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund also in the hunt.

Monchengladbach may prefer to sell to England – with Premier League clubs notorious on the continent for overpaying to sign their star players.

  • TOTTENHAM have been brutally trolled over their lack of silverware after they were named as the latest team to feature in Amazon's 'All or Nothing' series.

The hit TV series has already covered the likes of Manchester City, New Zealand's All Blacks and a host of NFL teams.

Releasing a statement at the exciting news, Tottenham said: “The multi-part series will offer viewers unprecedented behind-the-scenes access throughout our season.

“[It will give] a unique insight into the day-to-day workings of the football club at our world-class training facilities at Hotspur Way and Lilywhite House offices. They will also cover the club’s broader story at our state-of-the-art new stadium.

“Away from the pitch, the docuseries will focus on the unique aspects of the club, including its extensive work and impact in helping to transform the local area and showcasing the workings of our world-class stadium.”

But fans on social media have been quick to slam the idea, with one tweeting: “Are you *absolutely* certain this is a good idea.”

Another wrote: “LOOOOOOL any season to do it and you pick this one – INJECT ITTTTTTTTTT”.

A third added: “We already know it finishes at nothing so what's the point of watching?”
