TAMMY ABRAHAM wants Frank Lampard to bring out the best in him at Chelsea next season.

The England Under-21 star confirmed he will stay at the Blues — having helped fire Aston Villa to the Prem while on loan.

And though Chelsea are still to replace Maurizio Sarri, Abraham hopes they give the job to Derby boss Lampard.

He said: “He is a great manager and it would be great if it was him who took over.

“I believe in myself and there is no better guy to play under: Someone you have grown up watching, been at Chelsea for ever. He knows about me as well.”

FERNANDO TORRES has claimed Chelsea gave him the titles he desired following his retirement from football.

The Spanish forward moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2011 from Liverpool, and went on to win the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup with the Blues.

Speaking of his time at Anfield, he said: “[My time there is] a feeling I do not want to lose nor forget.”

On Chelsea, he added: ” [They] gave me what I always longed for, the titles.”

BRIGHTON goalkeeper Mat Ryan has jokingly claimed he is glad Eden has “p****d off somewhere else”.

The Belgian's £130m switch to Real Madrid would have come as a huge relief for most goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Speaking to the Fox Football Podcast, Ryan said: “I think from the four times I've faced him, I haven't saved a shot from him yet.

“It’s either been blocked, he’s hit the shot off target or he’s scored a goal.

“It’s a bit of an annoying fact so thank God he’s p****d off somewhere else. I put in a nice word to [Real Madrid] for him.

“I would love to have the opportunity to face him again and stop him – that’s my motivation.”
