    Arsenal 3-0 Fiorentina

ARSENAL continued their unbeaten start to pre-season thanks to an Eddie Nketiah double against Fiorentina in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 20-year-old netted a winner against Bayern Munich on Thursday and further proved a point to Gunners boss Unai Emery on their US tour.

Nketiah pounced on a corner 16 minutes into the game and used nimble feet to manoeuvre his way into a shooting position, slotting past the keeper.

Fiorentina also hit back 10 minutes before half-time as they almost netted from a corner, though Arsenal were able to bundle the ball from off the line.

Keeper Emiliano Martinez, who made a smart save just before Nketiah opened the lead, was replaced by German Bernd Leno, while Alexandre Lacazette replaced Sead Kolasinac.

Reiss Nelson came close on 52 minutes using sharp feet to get a shot off just outside the box forcing a save from the keeper.

On 63 minutes Calum Chambers, a shock contender for captaincy next season, made way for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian had a part to play in the goal as he played through Lacazette who fed the ball into Nketiah for a simple finish.

It marked the third goal he has notched in two International Champions Cup games.
