CLOAK and Dagger, based on comics of the same name, is set to return to screens for series two in April, much to the joy of Marvel enthusiasts.

It shares themes with other Marvel films and TV series, so it really is one for fans of superheroes and the supernatural.

And you can watch it for free if you know how.

Season two of the show follows two teens, Tandy and Tyrone (aka Dagger and Cloak), both with superhero powers who appear to be falling for each other whilst struggling with how to use their divine gifts.

Series two of Cloak and Dagger has the majority of the same writers from its first, so expect a similar tempo and themes.

How many episodes does Cloak and Dagger have?

Cloak and Dagger had 10 episodes in its first season and is set to have another 10 once the second season is finished.

Season two's final episode is set for release at the end of May.

Is Cloak and Dagger cancelled?

Cloak and Dagger was renewed for its second season midway through season one.

That means fans of the show might have to wait until midway through series two before finding out if a third season is on the cards.

The show has been praised for turning the original comic story on its head and changing it to challenge race and gender stereotypes and tackles issue such as drug abuse and police brutality.

Showrunner Joe Pokaski told The Wrap: “So we made some adjustments to Tyrone and Tandy’s stories, in the same way the other MCU movies and television shows do right now, to update them for current times".

It's a Marvel show for the modern day, that will not only focus on superhero type problems but real life ones too.

But once you've signed up to Prime, you aren't restricted to only watching Cloak and Dagger, because you'll also gain access to all the other films and box sets Amazon has on offer – trust us, there are a lot.

From Bosch to Outlander, you certainly won't run out of content to get through within the 30 days.

If after 30 days you decide you love the perks of Prime, you can renew it monthly for £5.99, which will give you access to TV and films.
