Watch a movie you like for a price you'll love with our top tips

THERE is nothing better than unwinding at the cinema with a film and a bucket of popcorn.

But a trip to the flicks with your family can be expensive.

Here are some ways to see a movie you like for a price you will love.

LIMITLESS FUN: Odeon is offering the chance to watch as many films as you want from just £9.99 a month with myLIMITLESS

You have to sign up for a minimum of three months. With the average cinema ticket costing £7, film fans can make back their money quickly.

Summer showings: Drive-thru cinemas popped up everywhere after lockdown, and you can nab great prices on voucher sites such as Wowcher.

I found a deal on tickets in Glasgow, down to £9 from £16, with classic films including Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, Jurassic Park and Grease.

GET A TASTE: Tastecard holders can get 40 per cent off cinema tickets and snacks at over 350 venues across the UK. Cinemas include Odeon, Vue, Showcase, Empire and more.

New subscribers can get 60 days of Tastecard for free.

After that, prices start from £5.99 monthly (cheaper than a single film ticket), or you can nab a £34.99 annual membership and save even more.

Visit tastecard.co.uk for more info.

Phone it in: O2 customers can claim a free Odeon cinema ticket for screenings on Mondays.

One ticket is available per Priority member every four weeks.

Vodafone users can buy two Vue cinema tickets every week for just £7 — you just need to use them within 30 days.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME: You don’t even have to leave the house to have a big-screen experience.

Get a cheap projector that links to your smartphone — Luckies of London sell one on Amazon for £18.95.

If your DVD collection is in need of an update, Amazon Prime offers a huge selection of movies including Cruella, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Joker for £7.99 per month. There’s also a 30-day free trial.

  • Prices correct at time of going to press. Deals and offers subject to availability.
