He co-founded luxury travel company The Lux Group in 2010.

Now Adam Schwab has revealed to Escape his ultimate packing tips for flights.

He told the publication that his number one hack is to always wear a jacket on a flight.

‘This allows me to take advantage of its pockets for all my in-flight essentials, such as passport, phone, headphones, rather than having to bring a carry-on bag,’ he said.

He said that his packing style is very mechanical given how often he travels.

Mr Schwab said that when he travels on his own, particularly to Sydney, he packs super-light, saying that he takes a carry-on if he travels for more than a week.

‘When we travel with our kids, who are aged two and three, we tend to be laden with all sorts of extra child-related gear, which usually means we’ll take a couple of big suitcases,’ he revealed.

He also revealed the type of luggage he uses, saying he believed he has used his Antler 58 centimetre roller more than 500 times.

Mr Schwab also has another go-to suitcase.

‘We have a couple of bigger Samsonite bags in maroon and light grey too – we stopped using black bags a few years ago because there are so many of them on baggage carousels,’ he said.

However it is his top carry-on tip that may be the most valuable information.

He said that it is important to pack your own headphones.
