The experts have split cleaning tasks into daily, weekly and monthly segments, meaning you won’t feel as overwhelmed to tackle the ever-growing must clean list and here’s what you’ve got to do…
Kärcher recommends spending a few minutes cleaning before going to bed. Doing things like putting the dishes away helps so that you don’t have to wake up in the morning and combat them. Wiping down work tops, too, is an easy habit to tackle an extra job and avoid doing it the following day.
Weekly, Kärcher recommends cleaning the floors but avoiding a lot of water to do so. The correct detergent is recommended, and not using ammonia, alkaline products or abrasive cleaners.

Cleaning your bathroom is the second task you can tick off weekly. You can remove everything from the bathroom and Kärcher recommends using a steam cleaner to kill up to 99.99 per cent of bacteria.
Monthly, you have three cleaning tasks to complete.
In no particular order, Kärcher recommends cleaning your fridge and clearing out any forgotten food. Then, wipe it down and wash the shelves with a food safe cleaning fluid.
Next, window cleaning can be done monthly, using a cleaning detergent and spray. You could also sweep dirt from the window frame with a dry cloth to prevent the dirt from turning into a mess when mixed with cleaner.
Finally, Kärcher recommends cleaning your oven and removing any stubborn food or burnt out areas with a metal spatula or ceramic hob scraper.
