Don’t leave posting Christmas cards and presents to the last minute, Royal Mail has warned customers. Their full list of deadlines for the UK and international delivery gives you plenty of time to get everything sorted, but you have been warned.

Royal Mail has urged customers to get their Christmas post out of the way as early as possible this year, to avoid delays.

Christmas is the busiest time of year for the postal service, and this year is no different.

Royal Mail is hiring 20,000 extra hands for the festive season, to ensure everyone receives their Christmas cards and gifts.

But even with those extra resources, Royal Mail has asked customers to give their posties a hand by sending their Christmas post early.

The Royal Mail says: “Allow plenty of time for posting.

“Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for International deliveries.

“Ongoing Covid restrictions, reduced air and freight capacity, high volumes and winter weather conditions are all impacting transportation and local delivery across the globe.”

So, what are the deadlines for posting your Christmas cheer to friends and family in the UK and around the world?
