The son of Atlanta rapper Jeezy was injured in a violent fight that ended in the death of another man.
The Warner Robins Police Department told USA TODAY that officers were called to the 300 block of Ridgestone Drive over shots fired in Georgia Sunday morning. Upon arrival, responding officers found Jeezy’s 22-year-old son Tadarius Dykes with an injury and another man, Lamar Graham, with two gunshot wounds.
Dykes suffered a “possible knife wound to the face area” during the altercation, according to Warner Robins Public Information officer Jennifer Parson. Dykes received treatment at the scene, while Graham was transported to the Medical Center Navicent Health where he died of his injuries.
Authorities are investigating what led up to the homicide, including two residential burglaries in the area that happened around the same time. The Warner Robins PD said the burglaries possibly involved Graham.
So far, no arrests have been made.
USA TODAY has reached out to Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, for comment.
