Jordyn, a social media influencer, added: ‘I’ve been told that my catfish transformations are the reason that people should take girls swimming on the first date.

‘Some of the comments really make me laugh.

‘People can’t believe it’s the same person in the before and after videos.

‘I’ve always been fascinated by makeup, ever since I used to watch my aunties getting ready to go out when I was younger.

‘I went to college and studied a makeup course, but I mainly taught myself my makeup skills through YouTube.

‘In 2020 I started my TikTok after I came out as transgender and transformed from male to female.

‘This is when I first started doing my dramatic transformation videos.

‘At the start of the videos, I don’t have my makeup or hair done, and I hadn’t shaved in a few days.

‘And in the next video, I have a full face of glamorous makeup, no facial hair and my hair done.

‘People couldn’t believe what they were seeing and my videos started to blow up.’

Jordyn thinks that her first layer of make-up is the key to her shocking transformations. She hails heavy foundation, concealer and contouring for helping her achieve a more sculpted face

Jordyn said: ‘Exposing myself without makeup on social media can be really scary.

‘I hate my facial hair, so showing myself with it makes me very vulnerable but makes my transformations a lot more dramatic.

‘It can also help normalise facial hair and masculine features for the trans community.

‘Although it can be scary exposing myself without any makeup and without doing my hair, at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter.

‘Because everyone looks different without their make up on!

‘There would be no point in wearing make up and spending time getting ready if it didn’t make us look any different.

Jordyn likes to give her transformation videos an even bigger shock factor by taking videos and photos from a low angle to give herself the biggest double chin she can – she is pictured after a transformation

‘Whether I am in full glam or fresh-faced without any makeup, I still feel confident no matter what.

‘But I just enjoy the process of doing lots of make up and see what a difference it makes.’

She said: ‘I started making the videos for a bit of fun and entertaining. It’s only playing around with makeup at the end of the day.

‘I never imagined that it would blow up in the way it has and enabled me to have a full-time job in social media.

‘I love that I can make myself look so dramatically different by just using make-up.

‘It’s so much fun to play around and see what I can create.

‘I love the way I look and feel after doing a full face of makeup and it just makes me laugh that people refused to believe that I am the same person when I have my makeup on.’
