Meghan ‘tells pals quitting Royal Family is best thing to happen to Harry’

Meghan Markle told close friends quitting the royal family is "the best thing that could ever happen" to Prince Harry , it has been claimed.

It's also alleged the Duchess of Sussex, 38, said her husband's "spirit was being crushed" and her love for him has made their new life possible.

Prince Harry, 35, was seen grinning as he stepped off a plane in Vancouver late on Monday night as he headed back to his wife and eight-month-old son Archie.

The family have since been staying at an luxury $14 million (£10 million) Vancouver Island mansion.

And Meghan's pal claimed to the Daily Mail: "She said that like her, his spirit was being crushed and she simply couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore.
