This wing man is not feeling the vegan movement.
An anonymous man undoubtedly won the hearts of meat lovers everywhere after he trolled a vegan protest event with a giant bucket of KFC chicken wings. His finger-licking-good prank quickly went viral online, garnering mixed reactions from social media.
The clip, posted Monday on the video-sharing app TikTok by KenJake Lamar, shows members of vegan activist group Cube Of Truth demonstrating outside Sydney’s Town Hall in Australia, reports the Daily Mail. Two blindfolded activists are seen standing before a TV screen depicting grisly scenes of animal slaughter.
But their protest failed to impress this chickenhead — who stood by in short-shorts, nonchalantly chomping on a cardboard container of KFC’s signature 11 herbs and spices recipe.
The chicken troll’s irreverent antics made quite the impression on TikTok, racking up more than 2 million views — and reactions such as “not all heroes wear capes some eat KFC” and “so many triggered people.”
Some, however, didn’t find the stunt funny: “I’m not a vegetarian or anything but like you’re just being childish,” says one critic. “Am I the only one who doesn’t find this funny?” adds another.
Trolling vegans with meat has become quite the trend of late. Last year, a Canadian chef set the vegan-verse ablaze after butchering a deer in full view of animal rights protesters camped outside his restaurant. And a famous vegan Instagram influencer made waves earlier this week after saying her monthlong meat regimen made her feel healthier than she’s been in years.
