Most of us had to make do with hand-me-downs from their older siblings – and it seems the royal family are no different in this regard.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posed with their children in this newly-released Christmas portrait.
Prince Louis looks very smart as he wears a light blue jumper over a shirt, navy bottoms and a smiley expression on his face.
Eagle-eyed observers noted the prince is wearing shoes that his brother once wore during a royal trip to Australia.
Prince George sported the navy shoes during a visit to Sydney’s Taronga Zoo back in 2014 while on a visit Down Under with his mum and dad.
The second-hand footwear isn’t the only hand-me-down worn by the royal siblings in the snap.
Princess Charlotte proudly wears a knitted blue cardigan with a white trimming in the picture.
Her brother Prince George fashioned the same knit in a portrait celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016.
Some claimed that Prince Louis stole the show with his adorable appearance.
One wrote: " Prince Louis has grown so much while Prince George and Princess Charlotte look absolutely adorable".
Indeed, he looks so grown up that one fan joked: "OMG Prince Louis has the face of a grown man!!!
"He looks like a car mechanic called Keith who would promise to give your engine a tune up & have you back out on the road in no time. Love it".
