Sydney Rae Bass is poking fun at her debacle with United Airlines over spilled popcorn.
The “Eric & Jessie” alum, 31, posted on Instagram Monday a photo of her daughter Blaire holding a large bag of SkinnyPop and captioned it, “She so cute 😍.”
Her sister, Jessie James Decker, commented, “The popcorn hazard,” referencing how United recently forced a pregnant Bass to pick up her daughter’s popcorn from the aisle of their flight because it was allegedly deemed a “safety hazard.”
On Sunday, the country singer, 33, took to social media to slam the airline for making her younger sister feel “humiliated.”
“[Bass] just texted me from her flight on @united As you know, she is five months pregnant, high risk, and also traveling alone with her two small children,” James Decker explained.
She then shared how Blaire had “accidentally” spilled some popcorn, prompting a flight attendant to come up to Bass with a “trash bag” and a “wet wipe” to have her “clean every drop.”
“My poor sister is on her hands and knees, crying in the aisle completely humiliated and exhausted, with her children while everyone else watched,” James Decker alleged.
Bass’ husband, MLB player Anthony Bass, also took to social media to call out United.

“The flight attendant @united just made my 22 week pregnant wife traveling with a 5 year old and 2 year old get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter,” the Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, 35, tweeted Sunday alongside a photo of his kids with popcorn crumbs around their airplane seats.
He then added, “Are you kidding me?!?!”
The flight fiasco sparked a debate online amongst parents, with some arguing that it was Sydney’s responsibility to pick up after her little girls and others siding with the Basses.
One critic tweeted, “Be a decent human and if your going to give your kid popcorn on a plane be prepared to pick it up. My toddlers loved Cheerios but they were messy, I would never had served them cheerios on a plane.”
Anthony then sarcastically wrote back, “You are the perfect parent. You can do no wrong.”
On Monday, the pro baseball player shared an update and said United was “taking care of matters with the flight attendant internally.”
