Jason Oppenheim recently hit the headlines after he went Instagram official with Chrishell Stause, from the Netflix reality TV show, Selling Sunset, on Thursday 29 July.

The 44 year old is the co-founder of The Oppenheim Group, a real estate brokerage in the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Strip.

Jason’s company is hugely successful and has its own Netflix series Selling Sunset, which delves into the lives and drama of the brokerage agents at The Oppenheim Group selling real estate in Los Angeles, which has proved very popular with viewers.

Since Jason and co-star Chrishell went Insta official, fans are demanding a fourth season ASAP to get the inside scoop on how the romance blossomed. But how did Jason make his money? We take a closer look…

What is Jason Oppenheim’s net worth?

Jason Oppenheim, 44, is a real estate broker and attorney who founded the real estate brokerage company, The Oppenheim Group.

The businessman is clearly extremely good at what he does, as he’s estimated to have a whopping net worth of $50 million (£35 million), according to Celebrity Net Worth and has been named ‘The Best Real Estate Agent’ in the US by the International Property Awards for 2020 to 2021.

Most of Jason’s money has been made through his talents and success as a real estate broker, with his company closing more than $1 billion in sales over the years and has a staggering $100 million in active listings.

Alongside this massive success, Jason’s company also has its own hit reality TV show, Selling Sunset, which first debuted on Netflix back in 2019 and documents all the drama that happens at the real estate brokerage company.

But before he got into real estate, Jason also had a high-flying career as an attorney too, where he used to work at O'Melveny & Myers and had big celebrity clients including Orlando Bloom, Chloe Grace Moretz, Kris Humphries and more.

His Instagram bio also lists him as a developer and contractor and he received a law degree and undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley.

As well as his company bringing him financial success it’s also found him love, as he’s now dating Selling Sunset co-star, Chrishell Stause.

However the blonde bombshell isn’t just a real estate agent as she’s also an actress too, as she’s known for her previous TV roles playing Amanda Dillon on All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives.

According to the Sun, Jason had told People magazine in 2020 that dating a co-star may not be a good idea.

Speaking to the magazine he said: "That's such a big bowl of mess that I don't need to get into.

"I've never dated anyone that was working at the Oppenheim Group, and there's no one that I would consider."

It looks like the broker has eaten his words though as he looked very smitten with Chrishell on Instagram.
