Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are one of Hollywood’s hottest couples and will soon solidify their love with a wedding.
If you would’ve asked Sophie Turner three years ago if she thought she would be getting married, let alone at an early age, the actress probably would have
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Sophie Turner opened up about why she never expected to get married. That is, until she met Joe Jonas.
Turner didn’t think she’d ever get married
It looks like we weren’t the only ones shocked when Joe Jonas asked Sophie Turner to marry him.
It turns out, the actress never expected to get engaged to someone at all, especially at such a young age.
In October 2017, the Game of Thrones actress revealed on her Instagram that she was engaged to musician and actor Joe Jonas.

“I was fully preparing myself to be single for the rest of my life,” she told Rolling Stone in an interview. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know.”
Now that the actress is 23-years-old and has been engaged to Joe Jonas for almost two years, Turner is ready to be his wife.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner plan on tying the knot sometime this summer in a low-key ceremony held in France.
She credits past experiences for helping her grow up faster
While sitting down with Rolling Stone, Sophie Turner revealed that if it wasn’t for past experiences, she probably wouldn’t be prepared to become a wife any time soon.
As she talked about her relationship with Jonas, the actress revealed, “I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age. I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28,” “
She then went into to talk about her past relationships with men and women. “Everyone experiments. It’s part of growing up. I love a soul, not a gender.”
Since she went through those past relationships and was able to dwell into her sexuality early on, Turner can now look forward to a long and happy life with Joe Jonas.
Turner told Marie Claire back in 2018 that it’s “lovely to be engaged,” but she doesn’t consider her engagement a major accomplishment compared to her career.
“There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you,” she told the magazine. “But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life.”
Sofie Turner has had an amazing career on GoT and now that the show is coming to end, she will be able to experience the second greatest moment in her life, her wedding.
