Christmas is fast approaching and whilst some have already decked-out their homes with trees and decorations, others are only just starting to shop for decorations.
Full-sized trees can be a bit accident-prone when put in homes with pets and young children, as they love to grab onto any items within their reach.
Thankfully, Argos has come to the rescue this year with a whole range of 'half-trees', which aim to avoid any hassle completely.
From broken fairy lights to messed-up branches, it's never a nice surprise to notice your perfectly-decorated tree has collapsed across the room, and it's a constant worry that any dogs, kids, or mischievous toddlers could end up hurting themselves.
The Argos website currently has a range of different alternative trees available for this year's festive season, and they're going down a storm with customers.

The Habitat 6ft Snowy Half Christmas Tree is one of the website's best-rated, and is only £55 for a 6ft-tall tree, but has an empty bottom half.
Sure, they might look a little odd in comparison to your usual option, but they're great for those who constantly worry about Christmas being ruined with a knocked-over tree.
The listing reads: "Don't let the cat ruin Christmas! Designed with curious cats (and toddlers! ) in mind, this 6ft tree starts a little higher than most.
"With the first branches at 93cm, it's a great way to keep your perfectly placed baubles and twinkly tinsel out of reach.
"This means that the half tree only needs half the decorating! It also means you can pile more presents underneath it!"
The listing continues: "Finished with a light dusting of snow, when you've built your tree we recommend you spend a little time fluffing up the branches to make sure they're thick and full."
Available in a few different shades and variations, the half-trees went down well with Argos customers.
One wrote: "After having numerous Christmas trees destroyed by my two cats, I decided this year to look around for more ‘cat friendly’ Christmas trees and found this one.
“I felt that it was a bit expensive but I thought I'd try it and see what happened."
They added: "The tree is excellent , easy to assemble & looks very full when all the branches have been brought out.
"My two cats left the tree alone and didn't even attempt to climb up it, result!”
And for those who don't fancy a half-tree, there's a number of other options available such as the Habitat 5ft Wooden Artificial Christmas Tree.
This is a ladder-style option which strips things back to basics for those who want to keep things simple.
It doesn't take up anywhere near as much room as a traditional tree would, but it adds a subtle dash of Christmas spirit.
