Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, meaning there is an extra bank holiday on the following Tuesday, December 27.
This is on top of the usual Boxing Day bank holiday on Monday, December 26.
As New Year's Day falls on a Sunday this year, there is also a bank holiday on January 2 too.
