Woman reveals we’ve been cutting our potatoes all wrong & the correct way guarantees they come out the same size

A WOMAN has revealed that we've been cutting our potatoes all wrong and the right way will ensure you get the same size every time.

Florence Simpson, from the UK, shared the hack with her TikTok followers.

The TikToker revealed that she learned the hack from her mum when she was a child, and all you need is an apple corer.

Florence said: "I don't know who needs to hear this but if you have an apple corer, one of these, they also work really well on potato."

You simply stand the potato up and push the apple corer into it to create even-sized chips.

She added: "Me and my siblings used to fight over this bit when we were kids," as she points to the middle cut which has no skin on it.

As well as making sure your chips are even sizes, it also means they will cook at the same time.

"That way they are all fairly similar sizes as well, even cooking time," she added.

"We are working smarter, not harder in 2023."

The video has since gone viral with over 825k views and over 83k likes.
