For Fall/Winter 2020, sustainable footwear label VEJA has linked with Rick Owens for its third footwear collaboration in as many years. After releasing its collaborative take on the Wool Runner and the Venturi earlier this year, the two brands return this season with two knitted offerings.
First up is the Runner Mid, a new high-top sock model made with a 64% bio-based cork outer sole and 100% recycled polyester. Arriving simultaneously is the lower Runner 2, a lower style sneaker featuring VEJA’s first ever natural cork sole, crafted with a combination of cork, 30% Amazonian rubber and 31% rice waste.
Arriving in an array of white, yellow, red and black, each VEJA x Rick Owens sneaker is available to buy now from the VEJA webstore.
In other news, adidas has tapped Pharrell Williams for its latest collection of finely woven Primeknit Superstars.
