Diamonds are everyone’s best friend — especially if you get them almost every day in the run-up to the holidays.
Luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. is producing its first-ever advent calendar this year — costing a mind-boggling $112,000.
The four-foot-tall display designed as a replica of the company’s Fifth Avenue flagship store has 24 doors hiding opulent gifts — many dripping in diamonds, platinum and gold.
“From our most desired jewelry to witty everyday objects, each day holds a new luxurious surprise,” the web listing promises.
But even those “everyday” objects on the “must-have” list — including a “paper” cup, clothespin, marker and harmonica — are made of sterling silver.
The luxury gifts and its secure packaging will be less of a gift for the delivery — with it weighing a hefty 355-pound after being assembled by the jeweler’s exclusive White Glove Service.
The company realizes the eye-popping price tag is for a select few, with just four calendars being sold during the store’s “A Very, Very Tiffany Holiday.”
