A RARE pink moon lit up the night sky across the UK last night in an extraordinary display enjoyed by millions.

And its good news for those who missed it, because the pretty pink glory will be visible until Monday.

But while the pink stunner will be full during the daytime, it won't be viewable until after the sun sets.

While a stunning thing to behold, the phenomenon has been said to have incredibly deep and powerful meanings for many people.

And it could even offer some astrological answers to those in need of a bit of guidance.

According to spiritual advisor Meghan Rose, the pink moon will have a profound effect on all star signs over the weekend.

She said: "[The April pink moon] actually marks the beginning of the Taurus-Scorpio eclipse that's taking place over the next year and a half.

"So this is actually going to be really powerful."

Rose even claims our emotions will be impacted in an "amplified way" as the pink moon lingers.

The mystic also said people can even expect a renewed sense of sense after a bit of chaos over the last few months.

"The amplification of it being an eclipse is going to halt any manifestation and ritualized manifestation specifically because the energy is so chaotic."

According to the Farmers' Almanac, which provides long-range weather forecasts, the pink moon marks the start of major seasonal changes.

But there is a fascinating reason for its name.

It explained: "April’s full moon often corresponded with the early springtime blooms of a certain wildflower native to eastern North America: Phlox subulata — commonly called creeping phlox or moss phlox — which also went by the name 'moss pink."
