Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is the wife of Prince William, both 38. The mother-of-three has been praised for her stylish looks in a new survey.

When the royal steps out to attend events, many people will look to her to see what she is wearing.

Her fashionable ensembles will often sell out very quickly as royal fans try to copy her style.

Kate’s influence has not gone unnoticed as she has now beat all royals in a list of most stylish celebrities.

This result is part of a survey commissioned by global platform for the luxury industry FARFETCH.

The international survey asked 14,000 adults from across Europe to comment on who they believed to be the biggest style icons.

Kate truly earned her place as the most fashionable royal as she was the only family member to make it into the top 10.

The Duchess of Cambridge took an impressive 24 percent of votes from those who were surveyed.

However, she narrowly missed the top spot as singer and fashion designer Victoria Beckham took the lead.

The mother-of-three is also happy to show her sustainable side and recycle looks multiple times.

As well as revealing style icons, the research also asked participants to comment on the most fashionable European countries.

Italy topped the list, followed by France, Spain then the UK.

It also revealed Giorgio Armani, Coco Chanel and Christian Dior as the top fashion designers.

The research showed that 56 percent of people enjoy learning about fashion and 52 percent want to learn more.

A FARFETCH spokesperson commented: “Fashion has always been a great way to truly express and explore your individuality, and now with so many different styles to choose from, it’s never been easier for people to really put their own spin on things.”
