Cleaning-mad mum gets her grimey hob sparkling using just three household ingredients – with no cleaning products

A MUM-OF-TWO has shared how she left her rusty hob looking sparkling in minutes using three simple household ingredients.

Chantel Mia, from Melbourne, uploaded a TikTok video showing how all stubborn marks were removed without any scrubbing.

Forget needing any cleaning products, all she used was bicarb soda, white vinegar and a dash of lemon juice.

Firstly she soaked the stove tops in a sink of washing up liquid and water.

Then she made her own DIY paste from bicarb soda and water, which she applied as a thick layer on the burns and left for 30 minutes.

She then used the rest of the paste to clean the entire stove tops with a cloth.

Next she made her own spray with white vinegar and a dash of lemon juice in an empty bottle.

She scrubbed each hob with the spray until it was sparkling as looked as good as new.

People were amazed at her cleaning hack, with one saying: “I’m so trying this. Thank you.”

Chantel, who posts under the username @mama_mila, is an Aussie cleaning guru who regularly shares her home hacks.

Previously she showed how she strips and cleans her mattress using bicarbonate soda.
