Why are people boycotting Rachel Riley?

The TV brain-box has also stressed she has no political allegiance to the right or the left, but is being hounded by anti-Conservatives for ‘only calling out the left’.

She went on to say: ‘Well, I’ve been attacked by people on the left and the best way to not have me talk about anti-Semitism on the left is not to be anti-Semitic.’

Comedian Katherine Ryan decided to share some words of comfort to the 33-year-old with her 497,000 Twitter followers, writing: ‘Being looped in with Rachel on social media provides a harrowing insight into the disgusting vitriol and VERY REAL anti-Semitism she and people of Jewish faith experience.

‘I absolutely stand with her and against that.’

Speaking to Parliament on the topic of the insults she has had to endure, Riley said: ‘In the name of Labour I’ve been called a hypocrite, lying propagandist, tits, teeth and ass clothes horse dolly bird, weaponiser of anti-Semitism, fascist, right-wing extremist, Nazi sympathiser, Twitter cancer, thick Tory, brainwashed, an anti-Semite, white supremacist, hate preacher, Zio political trollster, not a real Jew, a child bully, conspiracy theorist, a paedo-protector minion puppet who my dead grandfather would be disgusted by.’

This comes closely in tandem with the fact that three members of Labour were arrested in raids against anti-Semitism on 28 March – two men in their 50s and a woman in her 70s – on suspicion of publishing or distributing material likely to stir up racial hatred.

In response, a Labour Party spokesperson said: ‘We welcome the police investigating these individuals’ alleged crimes.

‘Anti-Semitism has no place in our society and we are committed to challenging and campaigning against it in all its forms.’

Labour leader Corbyn has repeatedly denied all allegations of anti-Semitism.
