Victoria Beckham has credited red wine as the one of the biggest factors to help keep her in shape.

The singer turned fashion mogul appeared on Thursday's This Morning where she dished out some of her top beauty secrets to viewers.

"Lots and lots of water. It's really key to keep hydrated," Victoria instructed.

"And I tell myself it's really good to drink red wine. I did hear that once and I think it was probably the wine industry that said that.

"But I like it so I throw that into the equation as well," Posh Spice added.

Victoria, 45, said that as a former dancer she still loves to workout as much as possible.

"My plan was to be a dancer and then everything changed.

"So exercise and dance has always been key to me. But I enjoy it. I put on my own playlist and I dance and it makes me feel good.

"It makes me feel happy and I think it’s finding a form of fitness that you enjoy ultimately. I think you have to enjoy it.”

Mrs Beckham also said her views on beauty haven't really changed since her Spice Girls days.

"We were all different. We just wanted have fun and to look like the best version of ourselves," she recalled.

As she reaches the midway point of her forties,,Victoria says she feels more confident than ever in her own skin ever.

"There were things that I used to, little paranoias that I used to have when I was younger about myself that I just don’t care so much about now that I’m older.

"You know, I think it’s about focusing on the good bits and just being kind to yourself, you know.

"I mean, I think everybody should be kind to themselves and kind to each other," she said.

As well as giving out helpful beauty advice, Victoria also recently spoke about the secrets of success to her 20 year marriage to husband David.

She said that they both entirely focused on their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

"The kids are our priority. Everything we do revolves around the kids. We both work really hard, we love what we do professionally. We appreciate each other. We are very lucky to have found each other and we are growing together.

"It was love at first sight. It was love at first sight."
