Shania Twain says she hopes to collaborate with Post Malone and has a song ready for the rapper, if he is willing to work with her.
The country music icon revealed her plans on CBS‘ “The Talk” on Wednesday after Posty was seen dancing to Twain’s performance at the American Music Awards.
“I’ve written a song for us already. He doesn’t know it yet. He knows now. So Post, I have a song for us,” Twain said.
Twain added that she has also written a song for herself, and pop stars Lizzo and Janelle Monáe.
“It’s called ‘Sisters’ and I think we are all sisters in what we do, and it was a really great new friendship that we started,” Twain said. “And so I went home and wrote that song. They don’t know about it yet.”
Twain returned to the American Music Awards stage for the first time in 16 years last Sunday.
She will kick off her seven month-long “Let’s Go!” Las Vegas residency in December.
