Meet Zander Cruz! Since Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried welcomed their baby boy — younger brother to Asher, 2 — on January 12, the parents couldn’t be happier with their full house.

“We’ve been loving and soaking in every moment as a family of four,” the 32-year-old wedding dress designer gushes in the new issue of Us Weekly. “His home birth was a beautiful, positive experience.”

Now both parents are total pros: “We know what to expect,” says the dad, 33.

Her Little Warrior

At first Hartsock wasn’t sold on her baby boy’s first name. “It means defender of men,” she says. “We had a few [names] picked out, and actually Zander wasn’t my top favorite. And then the more and more I was carrying him, I just felt like calling him Zander. It just felt right.” As for his middle name, Cruz? “[That] was just really random,” she adds. “We didn’t [choose the name until] after watching Cars with Asher.”

The Perfect Delivery

Luckily, the home birth was easy. “It was five-and-a-half hours,” the mom recalls. “I feel very blessed. You never know how labor can go.”

An Empowered Mom

Days after welcoming Zander, Hartsock shared to Instagram her post-baby body. “I think it’s just important for everyone to know you don’t just have a baby and then you’re back to normal,” she admits, adding that it’s also crucial for “husbands to know, in order to be able to support their wives.”

Calm Baby

Things have been easy for the parents. “He just sleeps so well,” she gushes. “It’s fun because it definitely feels like we have a fuller house. It’s not as hard as we thought, just yet.”

Best Friends

“Asher’s been really great with him,” the Bachelorette alum reveals, noting he was extremely excited before he met his baby brother. “We got him matching penguins. So Asher has a medium-size stuffed animal that he loves, and we got the baby a little one that matches.”
