Tom Fletcher revealed that he was forced to rush one of his sons to the hospital for a “classic Sunday” in the emergency room over the weekend.
The McFly singer, who is usually seen on stage alongside his bandmates Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal he was at the hospital with one of his kids.
The 37 year old singer shares Buzz, eight, Buddy, seven, and Max, four, with his wife, Giovanna Fletcher.
Alongside a tired selfie of himself in a grey jumper and face mask, Tom wrote: “Classic Sunday evening spent in A&E.”
“Nothing serious at all, kid with a bruised knee,” he added.
Tom, who in December rushed to the hospital himself with an eye injury, also shared a picture to his Instagram grid that showed his son smiling in an old McFly band shirt.
“When you take your kid to hospital (he’s fine, don’t worry!) without realising the tshirt he’s wearing,” he joked in the caption, with the picture amassing nearly 10k likes.
While Tom did not elaborate further on the nature of the injury, fans wished his son a speedy recovery in the comments.
One person wrote: “Glad he’s fine! This shirt must be a lucky charm.”
“Good that he's doing fine,” another said, with a third adding, “Aww hope he’s ok.”
Other fans were focused on the vintage band shirt, with one penning: “Y’all made this in long sleeve??”
“I think he’s trying to remind you of your band,” another wrote, while someone else revealed: “ I have a shirt with the same print, but with the green and yellow Brazil’s version.”
Childhood sweethearts Tom and I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s Giovanna married in 2012, though Tom previously admitted to dumping her shortly after meeting when they were kids.
“I asked her out on the day we met. She said yes but I dumped her two days later. Then I spent years grovelling, trying to get her to go back out with me!" he told OK! last year in an exclusive interview.
Reflecting on his life as a parent, which is quite different from his time touring the world with McFly, Tom further explained: “But, actually, I’ve realised you can do a lot on very little sleep.
“I can honestly say that nothing prepares you for being a parent, no matter how prepared you think you are. But it’s the best, it’s amazing, and I love it.”
“At the minute, they’re into Star Wars and music. It’s so cool that they’re into the same things I’m into,” he added. “The coolest thing happened recently. I took my kids to see Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy and it just blew their minds.
"It felt like being at a gig with my mates – but it was with my sons.”
