Louis Theroux fans got more than they’d bargained for when looking at his recent filming snap, which he shared with his 446,000 Instagram followers yesterday. The documentary filmmaker caught the attention of eagle-eyed social media users while teasing a behind-the-scenes look at his latest programme from the early production stages.

Louis could be seen posing for a selfie with cameramen and the rest of his filming crew busy at work behind him.

Without giving too much away about what he was working on, the journalist captioned the picture: “Real life real people.”

However, it wasn’t long before fans got distracted by something they spotted in the background of Louis’ on set selfie.

Fans spotted a woman in the photo, who could be seen with a towel wrapped around her while chatting to a member of the crew.

Unfortunately, fans were quick to notice that the woman who seemed to be one of Louis’ interviewees hadn’t covered up properly with the towel.

Instagram users claimed an awkward “nip slip” could be spotted in the background of Louis’ filming selfie.

Fans rushed to the comments section to point out the apparent error to Louis.

jason85d penned: “I guess hash tag free the nipple is your next doco.”

b.a.z added: “Real life nip.”

tracie__y commented: “Hope it’s not what I think it is.”

aarronyou quipped: “I know I’m getting old as I’m more impressed by the camera man’s get up than her nipple.”

chrissyboy69 joked: “There’s a nip in the air.”

However, other fans remained focused on the exciting prospect of a new documentary series from Louis.

Louis is set to make a comeback to Oklahoma for Louis Theroux: The Cult of Joe Exotic, which follows up on Netflix’s hit series Tiger King.

He has also been busy working with The Body Coach Joe Wicks for an upcoming documentary.

The lockdown fitness star recently told OK! Magazine: “Louis Theroux has a production company called Mindhouse, so he and his team are helping with the edit.

“It’s a really powerful and emotional documentary around mental health. It’s looking at my family, and my journey with parents with mental health issues.

“I go to charities and certain people to see how they’re affected, and how parental mental illness affects children and the whole family.”

Giving more of an insight into the filming process, Joe said: “It’s been quite intense.

“There are things I don’t remember that I’m getting told about, so it’s quite emotional and tough.

“But I can’t wait for that to come out later in the year.”
