Kourtney Kardashian almost married ex Scott Disick in Vegas years before ‘Travis wedding’

They’re one of the hottest celebrity couples in rock ’n’ roll right now, and Kourtney Kardashian, 42, and fiancé Travis Barker, 46, proved it when they reportedly got married at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on Monday night, following the 2022 Grammys.

Whilst fans went crazy at the news, it’s not the first time that the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has headed for the alter in a Las Vegas chapel, after nearly marrying ex Scott Disick, 38, back in 2007.

Following a pregnancy scare, the Poosh founder and Talentless CEO decided to get married at A Little White Chapel when Kourtney was just 28 years old.

It was filmed for the wildly popular Keeping Up With The Kardashians show, before the couple ultimately decided not to go through with the wedding.

In the episode six of the first season of the show, Kourtney said: “This feels really rushed but I guess I'm about to get married” before continuing, “I feel like we just woke up and haven't had a second to think about this.”

She even went as far as to pick out a strapless white satin gown and veil, whilst the almost-groom-to-be modelled a dapper white suit as they eschewed traditional wedding practice by seeing each other in their get-ups before the ceremony.

Momager Kris Jenner, now 66, quickly stepped in to reason with her daughter after having a hurried conversation with her then-husband, Caitlyn Jenner, 72.

The now grandmother-of-11 said to Kourtney: “This is wrong. You've got hot pink flowers, and you're standing under plastic roses. I know you.

“It's not about the things. I don't mean to make it about that, but this feels wrong. You're rushing it. [Caitlyn] isn't here, your little sisters [Kendall and Kylie] aren't here. They would die if they thought they weren't your bridesmaids. Where is [Scott's] family? This is about family!”

Her mum’s words clearly had an effect, as Kourtney broke the news to Scott that she wasn’t ready to go through with the ceremony.

In a confessional, Kourtney said: “I think maybe my mom's right. This feels so rushed and just not right. I never really thought about what my wedding would be but this is certainly not it.”

Kourtney's nine-year on-off relationship with Scott, with whom she shares three children, ended in 2015, after he was spotted canoodling with stylist Chloé Bartoli in Monte Carlo.

Kourtney and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker started dating in 2021 and got engaged later that year in October following a romantic beach proposal in Montecito, California.
