Kate Wright has been praised for her heartfelt tribute to Rio Ferdinand's late wife Rebecca Ellison.
27-year-old Kate, who is stepmother to Rio and Rebecca's three children, spoke out on Mother's Day.
The former TOWIE star, who gave up her reality TV career after finding love with dad Rio, took to Instagram to share a picture of an adorable handmade card.
It featured a picture of various family members – including a smiling Kate beside Rebecca.
"Here's to the mums, the stepmums, the not mums yet and the mums who can't be with us that we will never forget," read the message.
As she shared a photo of the card to fans, Kate wrote: "Lovely Mother’s Day dinner with family, we celebrated all 6 of us today. How lucky we all are to have hearts that can love after so much pain. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone."
She was soon inundated with sweet messages from fans who praised her thoughtful comments.
"This literally melts my heart. What a beautiful card," said one.
"This is amazing, so beautiful!! You are such a special soul," added another.
Rebecca sadly passed away in 2015 following a battle with breast cancer.
Two years later Kate and Rio were first linked in 2017 and in September the reality star announced plans to quit The Only Way is Essex to concentrate on being a stepmum to Rio's kids Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine and Tia, eight.
On Sunday Rio shared his own Mother's Day message to Kate where he thanked her for keeping Rebecca's memory alive.
Sharing a snap of Kate walking along a pier with his daughter Tia, Rio wrote: "Thank you for all you do for the little munchkins. From keeping their mums memory alive, to constantly putting smiles on their faces. Love u."
In November last year, Rio showed his appreciation for Kate in style by proposing to her on top of a helipad in Abu Dhabi.
Kate said of the romantic moment: "The perfect end to our holiday… how could the answer not be yes."
Last month, Kate revealed that she's already planning for the big day and has picked out nine bridesmaids when she walks down the aisle – including young Tia as Maid of Honour.
