GMB: Kate Garraway reveals children's Covid 'scare'

Kate Garraway returned to Good Morning Britain today after her absence left viewers concerned. The mum-of-two revealed that she had been self-isolating alongside her two children, Billy, 11 and Darcy, 14, after the two youngsters came into contact with someone who’d tested positive for Covid-19.

It comes as the presenter’s husband Derek Draper remains in hospital following his battle with the virus.

Taking to Twitter this morning, Kate revealed her washing machine, fridge and freezer had broken down.

The TV anchor claimed no one has come to fix the issue despite her putting in a call to the home care plan team yesterday.

She admitted she now feared “keeping her kids” at home without the basic essentials.
