Ronnie Ortiz-Magro went under the knife to help get his six-pack back.
The “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star revealed in an upcoming episode of “The Doctors” that he decided to get liposuction because he didn’t have time to work out after his daughter’s birth.
“I’ve always been a work out fanatic, and I’ve also always been in shape, but it takes a lot of hard work to stay in shape,” the 33-year-old said in a clip obtained by People. “One year ago today my life completely changed. I had a little baby girl. She’s like my guardian angel, and now I can’t spend two to three hours every day in the gym like I used to.”
Ortiz-Magro’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Christopher Khorsand shared that he was doing a laser high-definition liposuction of the abdomen, which “wasn’t even available ten years ago.”
“We’re going to be able to get that area in between each of his abs completely defined so that he actually has a six-pack for many, many years to come,” Khorsand said.
The results of the procedure, which costs from $20,000 to $30,000, should be permanent pending Ortiz-Magro’s eating habits.
While in recovery, the reality star said, “I’m feeling like complete crap. It has not been a good experience.”
It is unclear when Ortiz-Magro had the surgery — although “The Doctors” host Dr. Travis Stork said in the taped segment that Ortiz-Magro had work done “just a few days ago.”
In January, Ortiz-Magro shared a photo of his sculpted abs with the hashtag “#HatersWillSayItsPhotoshopped.”
