Love Island 2018 winner Jack Fincham has broken cover for the first time since his split with Danny Dyer’s daughter Danni earlier this week.
He popped up in a recorded message on ITV’s Loose Women today.
Fellow Love Island contestant Niall Aslam was appearing on the show to talk about coping with Asperger syndrome.
The condition had made it difficult for Niall to cope with life on the show and he ended up leaving the villa after nine days.
Jack praised his fellow Love Islander for opening up about the condition, saying: "I want to say a massive well done to my friend Niall for speaking out about his Asperger’s.
"Me and Niall are obviously really good friends and the fact he’s going on TV and speaking openly about Asperger’s is wicked.
"He has been fantastic in using his platform to raise awareness. Well done Niall, fantastic, good work.”
While the focus of the interview segment was on Niall’s struggle with Asperger’s, conversation inevitably turned to the end of Jack and Dani’s six-month relationship.
Niall told the Loose Women panel: "I’m gutted for them. I thought they were a great couple.
"I just hope they’re happy, both of them.
"I thought they were the real deal."
Meanwhile, doubt has been cast on whether Jack and Dani have actually split, after 22-year-old Dani deleted the Instagram post that announced that their relationship was over.
The original post read : "Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term.
"We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x."
But just hours after making the revelation, Dani decided to take down the post from her social media.
Jack himself has yet to comment either way on the state of their relationship.
