I’m A Celeb stars cause outrage at exclusive hotel with ‘rowdy behaviour’

The stars of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! got a ticking off for being too loud in their hotel after the raucous wrap party following the climax of the show.

Harry Redknapp – who won the 2018 competition – was joined by runner up Emily Atack and fellow stars Fleur East, John Barrowman, Nick Knowels, et al, as they let their hair down after surviving weeks in the Australian jungle.

While the stars were enjoying themselves as they partied the night away, guests at the five star Palazzo Versace Gold Coast hotel (where rooms currently can cost over £3,000 per night) were not best pleased to have their beauty sleep disrupted.

"The wrap party went on for ages and it’s no secret that the cast got very rowdy with friends and family,” a source told The Sun.

"A lot of the campmates hadn’t drunk any alcohol for ages and had been eating rice and beans, so some of them got really tipsy very quickly,” they continued.

"When they got back to the hotel, the staff had to remind them to keep the noise down so they didn’t disturb the other guests,” they added.

Photos and videos from the party showed guests including The Inbetweeners actress Emily, 28, looking bleary eyed and staggering from the wrap party back to the hotel.

Indeed, show host Holly Willoughby was herself seemingly feeling the benefits of a drink or two as she took a break early in the night to catch up with Philip Schofield on This Morning on Monday.

The 37-year-old presenter was still holding her margarita as she spoke live on air to Rochelle Humes and Phillip Schofield, who warned that they would have to hurry up the interview before she was on the floor.

Asked about her time on the show, a giggly Holly gushed that everything had been "amazing".

"Everything wants to eat you, everything wants to bite you," she said. "I’ve never been up this late!"

The rowdy drunken behaviour causing upset at the Versace hotel was not the only surprise ruckus to emerge after the show ended.

Contestant Anne Hegerty (best known as The Governess on The Chase) said that Nick Knowles was often causing a noise in the bush during un-aired clashes with producers.

"I don’t think they’ve seen how protective he gets with the other campmates,” she told Metro.

“He’ll have blazing rows in the Bush Telegraph if he thinks the rest of us are being put at risk in any way," she revealed.
