George Clooney Offers Once-in-a-Lifetime Getaway at His Family’s Italian Retreat

The initiative on Omaze.com, which will end on July 15, is done to raise funds for ‘The Midnight Sky’ actor’s Clooney Foundation for Justice via Charities Aid Foundation America.

AceShowbizGeorge Clooney and his wife Amal are offering one lucky fan the chance to hang out with them at their Italian retreat overlooking Lake Como.

The couple has offered up a once-in-a-lifetime Omaze.com getaway to raise funds for the actor’s Clooney Foundation for Justice via Charities Aid Foundation America.

A blurb linked to the initiative on Omaze.com features a photo of George holding a sign that reads, “JOIN US IN ITALY” and the note, “When you daydream about life after COVID-19, do you imagine: Getting together with friends. Sharing a meal, maybe a few drinks. Talking about what you’re grateful for. Endless laughter. This is going to be just like that… except your friends are George and Amal Clooney. And you’re joining them at their beautiful home in Lake Como, Italy!”

“You’ll enjoy a meal of their favorite local foods, cheers to life and snap a photo to remember it all by. And before you ask – no this isn’t a prank. Flights and hotel included.”

Donations for the sweepstakes have begun and the initiative ends on July 15.

The once-in-a-lifetime offer was not the only charity work Clooney invested in. In June, it was announced that “The Midnight Sky” actor joined Don Cheadle, Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling and Eva Longoria in co-founding The Roybal School of Film and Television Production, a film-focused high school in Los Angeles for underserved communities.

“Our aim is to better reflect the diversity of our country. That means starting early. It means creating high school programs that teach young people about cameras, and editing and visual effects and sound and all the career opportunities that this industry has to offer,” Clooney said in a statement. “It means internships that lead to well-paying careers. It means understanding that we’re all in this together.”
