One user wrote: “Put it in a sealed bag of rice… worked for mine when I dropped it in bath lol.”(sic)
Another user wrote: “Hope it has an active warranty.”
A third commented: “Don’t take it in the pool.”
Gemma replied sarcastically: “Yeh. How silly of me for taking a waterproof device in water.”(sic)
According to the Apple website, the iPhone X has a “new level of water and dust resistance”, but is not advertised as waterproof.
Their website states: “iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are splash, water and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 2 metres up to 30 minutes).
“Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.”
Elsewhere, Gemma has been keeping her fans up to date with the couple’s babymoon getaway in Tenerife.
Earlier this week she shared a picture of herself at the top of Mount Teide showcasing her bump in view of her 955,000 Instagram followers.
The radio host seemed in high spirits holding her arms in the air while smiling for the camera.
She also shared a picture of Gorka looking proud, as well as the view of their surroundings.
She captioned the pictures: “Last week me and Gorks climbed Mount Teide (it’s a drive, cable car and flat walk before the pregnancy police start on me).
“I haven’t been here since my dad passed away. We used to come every year and do the hike so it was bitter sweet, but I know he somehow helped drag me up there.”
Following her uploads, Gemma hit back at a report which suggested she had taken a “gruelling” mountain climb.
She slammed the report in a post, writing: “Wtf?? it wasn’t a ‘gruelling climb’ and I got burnt on my balcony reading. Why make s**t up?? Baffles me!”(sic)
The photo caption of the report read: “The soap actress, 34, revealed she’d been struck by sunburn during the gruelling climb.”
