Ferne McCann is set to tell her one-year-old daughter the reason her dad is in prison – but it will be done off camera.
The TOWIE star dumped her ex Arthur Collins when he was arrested for carrying out a vile acid-attack at a London club and later sentenced to 20 years.
She told Closer magazine that while she wants her new reality show First Time Mum to be genuine, when she plans to sit down and explain the horrific crime her father committed Ferne wants to tell Sunday in private.
The 28-year-old also revealed that after spending a year single and focused on her daughter she is now dating a mystery celebrity.
Ferne explained that she was happy for her life to be shown on TV and wanted to be honest.
"I like to show reality on my show and the good times and the bad. I want people to see me as genuine.
"But when I have to have that conversation with Sunday and explain certain things, it will be a private thing."
Collins was sentenced to 20 years in jail in 2017 for the attack which left 14 people injured.
He was arrested by 30 armed police which happened when Ferne was pregnant with Sunday, she then announced that she was no longer with him.
Ferne, who was reportedly involved in an altercation with Love Island star Adam Collard at the NTAs , has said she is determined to be a role model for her baby girl.
The single mum said that it was important to her to raise Sunday as a "strong woman who stands up for herself" and wants her to look up to her.
Ferne is also on the lookout for a new man in her life after her brief dalliance with Love Island’s Charlie Brake and another romance with an unknown older man, and admits she has been asked out on plenty of dates.
"I feel ready to dip my toe back in the dating pool and I’ve been talking to a few people here and there.
"There’s been a flirtation with another celebrity – whose identity I will keep secret – but I’m hoping it goes somewhere."
She added that she would love to have more children with another man and planned to have a "garden full of chickens".
The reality star also said that she was hoping to plan a few nights out with her best pal Vicky Pattison following her split from fiance John Noble in December.
Ferne said that she admired Vicky for getting through tough times and was determined to support her in anyway she can – including girl time and nights out on the pull.
"She’s always been there for me and I like to do the same for her."
