Former EastEnders star Katie Jarvis has reportedly been arrested after she was involved in a drunken street fight in Southend, Essex.

Actress Katie, 29, is said to have been filmed in a street fight with a group of women during a day out in a video.

The clip allegedly shows Katie, who played Hayley Slater on the soap, shouting and screaming before pushing one of the women outside a bar on the seafront.

As a fight breaks out, in a video obtained by The Sun Online, someone can be heard screaming “get back” as a glass can be heard smashing as the row spills onto the street.

At the end of the clip, the police can be seen approaching the brawl after pulling up in a large white van.

Meanwhile, a witness later reportedly claimed to police a member of the group involved in the row had been called a “f**king black c***”.

Another witness is said to have heard screams of: “F**k Black Lives Matter.”

A third witness told the publication: “I couldn’t believe it. At one point, she started screaming ‘I’m a famous actress’, and her friends were saying ‘she’s Hayley Slater from EastEnders’.

“Katie was saying ‘I haven’t done anything wrong!’”

Katie was reportedly taken away in a police car at the seafront in Southend, Essex.

It’s been claimed the row broke out after Katie, who is wearing a black vest top and denim shorts in the clip, went to take a chair from the women’s outdoor table.

Essex police confirmed an arrest had been made as they said: “A 29-year old woman was arrested on Friday 31 July just after 10.05pm following reports of a disturbance in Marine Parade, Southend.

“She has been arrested on suspicion of assault and racially aggravated public order.

“She has been released on bail until Friday 21 August.”

But Katie, who was praised for taking a job in B&M last year, is said to have denied that she was arrested.

Katie was reportedly glassed during a night out in London in March last year and tweeted about the ordeal before deleting it.

“I am absolutely fine thank you so much for all your concern and checking in on me but I’m a solider and been through hell of alot worse.”
